If you or a loved one has ever been inside an abortion clinic, the waiting room or operation room, you’ll know that they aren’t the most inviting or comforting place to be. In this case the opposite of Planned Parenthood is a Pregnancy Support Centers like Gateway Women’s Care. These Support Centers are comforting and inviting. Today, talking with Melinda Delahoyde, President of Gateway Women’s Care, and the Executive Director, Wendy Bonano.

What is a Pregnancy Support Center?

A Pregnancy Support Center is the complete opposite of an abortion clinic. The workers inside a Support Center want to help, not only the baby but also the struggling mother. Gateway Women’s Care, more specifically, offers cost-free Ultrasounds, STI Testing, after-abortion care, and many other services useful to pregnant mothers. Summing it up, Gateway and other Pregnancy Support Centers are the opposite of Planned Parenthood.

America is in the era of ungratefulness.

Taking a look at the era of ungratefulness, Megan Rapinoe, a player for the U.S’ women’s soccer team is fighting for equal pay within the leagues. That sounds great until facts and numbers are evaluated. Men’s soccer, not just the U.S, generates more revenue than the women’s soccer. This means that the men’s soccer league can be paid more. The women’s soccer league is demanding to rectify these “injustices”. If women were to be paid the same as men with the amount of revenue the women generated; they would be quadrupling (x4) their pay. This, from a business perspective, is absurd and impossible. The U.S Women’s soccer league would be bankrupt almost instantly.

Is America the "Greatest"?

Today we ask the question, is America the “greatest”?

Is America the greatest is a common question that is asked a lot in today’s generation. According to the New York Times, in a recent article, America is just “Okay”. Joining today in studio is Brooke Medina, Communications Director for Civitas Institute.

How should one respond to America just being “okay”?

Thus, looking at and comparing America to other countries, it’s obvious that America is better than just okay. The United States was founded on a creed of justice for all. While most other countries are founded on the need for power. This being said, America still has its flaws, but America has paved the way for a better democracy, capitalism, and free trade. The New York Times states that “The greatness of America depends on how wealthy you are”.

Moreover, this argument is summed up very well in Doug McCullough and Brooke Medina’s article “Can We Celebrate a Flawed Nation? Yes!“. Unpacking this, we first must define what greatest means. Does it mean perfect? America, nor any country, is close to perfect. However, if the greatest means better than all other countries, than yes, America is the greatest.

Finally, asking is America the greatest, can be answered with a simple “Yes”.

The timeless criteria for a candidate are political ideologies, policy stances, character & judgment, governing style, ultimate commitments, plus track records. Today we’ll overlay these criteria onto the past presidents and, now, running candidates.

Moreover, most presidential candidates have some sort of ideology they stand for. However, what is the ideal ideology? Obviously, the perfect ideology would be rooted in God’s word. Most candidates today, however, are rooted in secular ideas. These candidates are intending to absolutize something other than God himself.

Hear the incredible process of becoming a citizen. Don only moving to the United States at the age of 6 with his family became an official U.S citizen more than 60 years later. Don also reads some of his incredible poems after these events, such as passing his U.S citizen test, voting for the first time, and more. Don Perran is truly proud to be an American.

Soon after writing a poem, Don’s wife urged him to move on to different styles of writing. Soon, Don made lyrics to a song but scrapped the idea. While at a local country club near Raleigh, North Carolina, Don’s wife found a great singer. After conversing with the singer, Don could finally start work on his song. This is the amazing story of Don Perran, From Canadian To a Patriot.

The bail-in is coming… are you prepared?

Another full Money Monday episode calls for more preparation of the coming recession and the bail-in. However, in recent news, the markets are up 110 points with SMP up more than 2,900 points. With global stocks up all over the world.

Moreover, in recent events, there was no solution at the recent G20. But President Trump is backing off the Chinese technology company, Huawei. More big news, The biggest players, The FED, are possibly lowering rates. Instead of the FED fixing rates, they insist on the government getting its act together. However, the market is saying that lower rates are coming soon. These lowered rates will start at .01% and continue to drop each quarter.

The Bail-in:

The bail-in is coming… What exactly is a bail-in? In layman’s terms, a bail-in is when the government is so far in debt that it must take money from its citizens. This idea sounds so foreign and out of this world, but, its been done 8 other times in other countries. Greece is the most notable country, performing a bail-in on 3 separate occasions. With the United State 22 Trillion dollars in debt, the bail-in is a viable option for the government. A bail-in will go into your bank account or any electronic asset and take half to 3/5th of all citizens money. This is a crazy amount. How will we be able to survive this? Well, we won’t. But on the course, the United States is going it won’t be able to survive by not bailing-in.

The lunacy of the Democrat debates is disturbing… let’s break them down.

The Democrat main goal is to portray President Trump as satan and the Democratic party as the savior itself; however, the Democratic party is the savior of everything except babies in the womb.

Moving on to the candidates, the American author, Marianne Williamson’s plan to “defeat” Trump is to extinguish his hate with love. Marianne Williamson states that President Trump is using fear to head his political power. She wants to meet his fear on the same field with love. That sounds great in an ideal world. However, one can not harness love in a hate-driven world.

Additionally, all of the Democratic candidates are promising free healthcare for, not only, all Americans but to illegal aliens too! The arrogant Democrats are willing to provide MORE reason to illegally enter the United States. The Democrats are also willing to kick more than 100 million Americans off of their private insurance.

Further, Kamala Harris went after old Joe Biden. The claims that Biden is a racist was brought up; however, the claims were quickly trampled by a debate between Harris and Biden. Turns out, Kamala Harris absolutely wiped the floor with Joe Biden. If Biden cannot keep up with the fresh face, Harris, how will Biden keep up with Trump?

Another Theological Thursday brings another Ask The President Day!

Dr. Danny Akin, President of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, joins today to tackle some of the commonly asked questions about the Bible. These questions range from why angels no longer rebel to the differing religious views.

Starting off, “Why do angels not fall from heaven anymore?” The reasoning behind angels not falling is implied in 2 Peter chapter 2. This draws the idea and implication that there was a “trial” period for the angels. This “trial” period was a time for angels to either choose to be with or against God. It is also thought that one-third of angels fell with Lucifer.

Another commonly asked question is “How should we approach the Catholic Church?” The debate in the Catholic Church is tradition vs. scripture and how both are perceived. The Catholic Church is all about tradition and how it’s been for the past hundreds of years. However, what’s missed is the scriptural backing of the traditions the Catholics follows. On many occasions, the Catholic Church contradicts itself with the traditions and ways about.  At one point in time, there were even THREE Popes! A good book to look at is “Sic Et Non” (Yes and No). Sic Et Non focuses on the contradictions of the early Catholic Church.

Jesus Pride Month!

Jesus Pride Month

This month is not only gay pride month, but it is also Jesus Pride Month at the Upper Room Church of God and Christ.

Not only is it Jesus Pride Month but Bishop Patrick Wooden and the rest of the members at Upper Room Chuch of God and Christ are asking all pastors and church leaders to promote pro-life values. These pro-life values are more than just unborn babies and this movement is needed in any congregation.

In this day and age the abortion issue and debate rages on, but today we’ll hear about black leaders standing for the life of unborn babies! Bishop Patrick Wooden is one of the trailblazers for the African American pro-life community. Paving the way for his congregation and others who come to hear his great messages about the issue of life. In the words of Bishop Wooden, “The bottom line is… without life you have nothing.”

Abortion is not fully a political issue, first and foremost, it is a biblical issue that can be solved with political mannerisms.

In light of pride month, Cincinnati’s Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church is allowing drag queens in churches to have “Drag Queen Story Hour”. Dan Davidson, a caretaker of Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church, briefly became Sparkle Leigh dressed in full drag and with loads of glitter and makeup. Reading the story of LGBTQ icon Harvey Milk to the children of the congregation. Allowing drag queens in churches is not a bad thing since Jesus love everyone; however, the trouble comes when allowing them to read pro-LGBTQ stories to children of the church. Thus, begging the question is this church an actual church or is it an organization posing as a church?

In other, brighter, news, the Supreme Court rules that Maryland’s Peace Cross can remain standing on public grounds. This is considered a win for religious liberty. Maryland’s American Humanist Association had sued for the cross to be taken down, but in a 7-2 decision that it does not violate the constitution. Following the trend of Supreme Court decisions, the Supreme Court strikes down parts of a federal law blocking trademarks with names or logos having “immoral” or “scandalous” images, this includes profanity and sexual images. Read more about the change in federal laws here – Change in Federal Laws

What are some ways of fixing a failing marriage?

Today on another Theological Thursday, Tate Cockrell – Associate Professor of Counseling – helps walk through some of the “do’s and don’ts” of seeking marriage help. Some of the common problems stem from communication, conflict resolution, lack of intimacy. The main three reasons for divorce are selfishness, selfishness, and finally… selfishness. However, while selfishness is one of the main factors to deteriorate a marriage, the United States reports marriages fail after the last child leaves the house. These marriages fail because the parents can only ever remember being mom or dad. Both parents lose identity in themselves and in each other resulting in a divorce.

Another downfall of marriages is financing. Mainly, the lack of communication between partners about finances. A failing marriage is a round-about cycle of – The lack of love he provides fuels her lack of respect… and her lack of respect fuels his lack of love – and this will continue until it either blows up or is resolved.
